my friends and i spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel, we found all staff polite friendly and helpful. the food was outstanding and the rooms were beautiful.we were made to feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble. we will be returning to this fanstatic hotel in the near future and will be recommending to it to family and friends.

I have been away from this place for a few years. I live in Brixham before and would always visit Churston Court, eat, stay and drink here. I booked a 40th birthday party for a friend judged on my years of knowing this place. I was disgusted in what I found. Food under cooked. Staff very un-helpful. £ members of staff on and we had to look for them each time we wanted to order. Asking for things that never came or was so late, up to 40 min at one point. Smashing of glasses due to lazy un-professional staff. Some staff could not understand what we wanted as could not speak english. We had to go and find a english member of staff to ask for a jug of water to be put on the table. In the end we got two. The glasses had lipstick around the glasses and we had to hunt other tables to find clean glasses as we could not find a member of staff. Puddings flat and under cooked. The whole night wad disgusting and disapointing. On doing some research with locals I am told most dont bother visiting again as all have noticed this place has been going down hill for a few years. I wished I knew that before I booked our night from hell. I spoke to over 200 hundred locals over the last couple of days about Churston Court and all say the same stoy as I. Avoid because you will be dissapointed
