Good Points: comfortable accommodation-excellent food

Good Points: The hotel had a lot of character but also had the latest technology, choice of 2 restaurants serving excellent food. Flat screen TV in bedroom was a great idea.
Bad Points: There was nothing that I could dislike apart from there was no Hotel parking facilities. But there are plenty of nearby parking facilities.
General review: I stay in hotels approx 100 times per year. This hotel was clean, Bed was very comfortable, shower was good strength. Staff were excellent in all areas. Food was excellent with a price to suit all expectations. I rarely have the time to make comments on hotels and they are normally faceless but on this occasion I have commented because this hotel and its staff deserve to be recognised. I also discovered I had a flat tyre which was an inconvenience and the staff even phoned a local tyre company to solve the problem. Once again it just showed some willingness to help.
