Nothing was too much trouble for the friendy staff, from the moment I arrived after a tiring journey. There was instant help with luggage, tea on the terrace with first rate scones and biscuits - both home made. (I particularly appreciated the crisply starched linen napkins). The room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped with every need catered for. A large party of us were there to celebrate a ruby wedding and everything went without a hitch for the whole weekend. Thanks to the hotel's flawless organisation we all enjoyed ourselves, and there were many compliments paid to the staff, both for the service and the superb food. I would unreservedly recommend The Old Bridge.
