Good Points: Excellent food for breakfast. Well appointed room.
Bad Points: Check in very lax, climbed over piles of laundry backs to get to the so called Reception. Hotel was unclean, dirty skirtings, smelly loos, cobwebs galore. Room could have been cleaner, that is what let it down. Apparent lack of staff. Our room number 6 right above bar, constant door banging, screeching etc. There really shouldn't be a room here! Wish we had been advised of this when booking, then could have made an informed choice.
General review: Overall not an unpleasant stay but will not return. Researching while in Callander, far superior establishments to stay for the same price. We know area fairly well and were a tad dissappointed.
