We stayed in the Royal Hotel for one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely with a sea view and a balcony, the room was spotless and the tea and coffee making facilities were very welcom. The food was excellent as was the service. We would recomend this hotel and hope to return sometime.

had a two night stay in the Royal hotel skegness. The outside is striking to look at, go inside still nice, get to your room and it was a different story, plain bog standard room, en-suite door would not shut properly, tiny sink, toilet just wide enough to sit on, no bulb in bedside lamp. checked menu and came down for dinner, ordered our meals only to be told no fish and chips available that night. breakfast was good, so was parking, will not be staying there again.

Good Points: Friendly staff Bad Points: Room was not very clean. Cups / plates in room had dust on. Radiator is room sounded like a water feature
