We stayed for 2 nights in early November and will definitely return. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere yet the service at all times was efficient and courteous, all the staff make you feel welcome and you sense that they are genuinely happy in their work. The food, both for the very reasonably priced dinner and the breakfast, was excellent. The evening meals showed a true skill on behalf of the chef. When we asked if they could accommodate one of our party's restricted diet the hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate and prepared a dish specifically for her needs, for which we were most grateful. The “full Scottish breakfast” lived up to it’s name including haggis, black pudding and lorne sausage and truly sets you up for the day, alternatively the breakfast selection included, kippers, poached haddock and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, making me want to stay for a whole week. Whilst our room was in no way grand it had an excellent view and was so cosy we instantly felt at home (the bed was very comfortable), all of the décor was fresh and everything was spotless, I was also impressed that they were able to provide free wireless internet access when a much larger hotel on the mainland felt the need to charge £10 a day. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a high quality yet unpretentious experience and we look forward to our next visit

Great day out. Take the grandchildren. It's amazing that in this day and age you can still find a friendly show - no agro, just nice people. Good show, perhaps better in some ways that the North Somerset, which seems to have lost its way in the last few years.

We have had a fantastic few days at Tobermory. Hotel Tobermory is excellent, the location is second to none, our room was very comfy and cosy. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were friendly, everything was done with a genuine smile. The choice of food, preparation, quality and presentation was excellent every day. This was our first visit to Scotland and we wish we could have stayed longer.Tobermory is a great place to stay, very relaxed, quiet and laid back and a great place to come back to after a day out exploring the island. We look forward to returning next year.
