I agree with Davids review dated 1st April 2009.Very clean, meals freshly cooked & excellent in lovely surroundings. A pretty hotel situated in lovely location. The staff were friendly and very willing to help in any way. After booking in for three nights we were so impressed that we decided to stay an extra day. Overall a pleasant stay and will definately be going back.

Pleasant looking place from the outside. Although the inside is quite tidy, it does need just a bit more than a lick of paint to bring it upto date as certain bits of ceiling look a bit unsteady on the dining room. Twin room in stayed in was clean although the bathroom wouldn`t look out of place in the 1970`s. £87 a night is a bit pricy though. The beer in the bar is £2.50 a pint and very nice too. The menu is varied and well price although the Fish Pie a guest that sat next us was well minging and smelt off. I recommend the Gammon. The staff are really friendly and attentive although the Manager could with some lessons in how to smile.
