This hotel was in a very pleasant setting and very secluded. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice but the shower room was very small and old fashioned.Whilst the shower, toilet and the washhand basin was clean the paintwork was not!!!!!!!!!!!!It really needed a complete overhaul to qualify for it's 4* rating. The food was good and the breakfast was a real feast!!!!!!!!!!On Sunday night when we returned from a drink in the village aT 9:15 the reception was closed as was everything else so it was a bit like The Marie Celeste!!!!!!!!!!In fact we thought we were the only people staying there it was so deserted. If I had been a lone woman I would have been a bit nervous.
