I booked Butlers on line through Late Rooms. My holiday companion has always liked the highest standards for her holiday accomodation, as this was my treat I was a tad nervous and hoped Butlers was to her standards. Upon arrival neither one of us could have been more pleased, the accomodation was fantastic with the proprietors friendly and welcoming. The rooms were fantastic each Butler themed roomed spotless, with all the accessories you needed. My companion occasionally holidays alone and was very impressed that in the dining room the seating for single travellers was not in the middle of the room ( which usually is in large corporate hotels), the selection of food for breakfast was brilliant .It was with regret that we moved onto Bristol for the rest of our short break. It really was to our regret as when we arrived at the hotel that by the way was the same star rating as Butlers the hotel had peeling wallpaper, throws on lounge chairs to cover threadbare patches, basically it was horrendous. Unfortunately we had to stay the night due to knowing the rest of Bristol was full but the next morning we contacted Butlers to see if they had availability for us to return, thank goodness they did so it was fantastic to return to luxury. I would recommend staying at Butlers, the price is excellent, it has a fantastic location and is in within walking distance of all the attractions, the proprietors make you feel really welcome and nothing is too much trouble, breakfasts were fab.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The place, food and people were fantastic. The rooms are beautiful, everything you will need supplied. Breakfast was great and served with no fuss and presented well. Butlers is a place we will want to visit again and will be recommending to it our friends. The building and its careful decoration exude charm and class and reflect everything you would expect from house of its age. You attention to detail makes a stay value for money.
