The Special Yoga centre is one of those places that you find and never want to let go of again! From the moment you walk into the reception area which is beautifully decorated with flowers and paintings, you know that you have walked into a special place. I found the yoga centre about seven months ago and have been attending classes twice a week ever since- you could say I am addicted. My first class was very nerve wracking as I really did not know what to expect but the teacher was unbelievably approachable and made me feel very at ease straight away- the next time I went she even remembered my name which in a city like London is very rare- its these little touches that make this a very special place. The yoga centre caters to people of all ages, from babies to oldies! Every class has beginners and more advanced students but the teachers manage to cover all levels- all the classes are drop in which means you can try out a different class every week - and the variety of yoga classes range from Hatha yoga to Ashtanga yoga to Dynamic Flow yoga. If you are thinking of trying out a yoga class, I can't recommend this place highly enough. It oozes tranquility and calmness, and I guarantee you will leave after the class feeling as though your floating on air. Also this is a charity and every penny you spend goes to the centre which helps children with special needs- so not only are you helping yourself but you are helping others too! :)
