All I can say to anyone reading this post is that this is a lovely little cottage. Nice little village, nice local pub, nice church. 'Great', I hear you say. 'Perfect. Let's stay there'. Do it;but you need to be fully prepared to pay £100 more than you think you'll pay. That's because you won't get your deposit back. I've never written negtive feedback so blatantly on a website before, but having all phone calls and emails ignored by the owner of this property is frankly a bit of a kick in the teeth. I stayed at the cottage over a month ago and still haven't had my deposit back. Not just haven't had it back, but haven't had any explanation as to why I haven't had it back. The place was left as we found it; perfect condition (we were only there for a few hours to be honest). But apparently that necessitates me paying an extra £100 for a one night stay.
