Good Points: The hotel & room were tidy and clean. Bad Points: There was a meagre provision of coffee, milk & biscuits in the room The kettle was placed beside a round pin plug socket - I have not seen these for years. The next available plug socket which fitted the kettle was directly behind the TV. Disinterested staff - 1 was taking a personal call as we attempted to pay our bill. £5 for Room Service Breakfast stops at 10.30am on a Sunday morning. Most hotels stop at 11am. £115 for room & Continental breakfast was in our opinion excessive. We could have stayed in Carrick centre for £90 & had a full breakfast (Dobbins) Ash trays full & overflowing in outside smoking area General review: We stayed in 2007 & were very impressed with staff, food & room. It was obvious to us that these standards had slipped.
