Situated in the restored Salt Warehouse in the historic Canal Basin we were made very welcome by Michelle, Owner Chef. Being a summer evening people were sitting outside but we chose to sit in the upper floor restaurant where we were served by the attentive staff. We had a wide choice of food and wines and everyting was cooked to our satisfaction. The evening became quite busy but we were well looked after and Michelle came personally to check all was well. Pictures over the Bar show HRH The Prince of Wales visiting this year as part of his support for the restoration of this historic building, reputed to have been built by John Smeaton of Leeds, the Lighthouse builder !
