When my wife and I arrived we were asked to pay in advance,then told that the Hotel did not take credit/debit cards, this meant a trip to the auto bank.
Our room was on the second floor and not en suite. The toilet situated on the landing had a sink that would not drain and both the second floor toilets had no flush buttons. We subsequently found out that three guests had refused to stay at the Hotel ashort time prior to us arriving.Never again.

Stayed at the Harrow Hotel in July and the place was spotless. Staff were friendly and you are right in the centre of Dalkeith.
You get a good pint in the Bar but the only disappointed was no evening meals but there were lots of places nearby which accomodated us.
Would def stay there again.
