What a lovely tradtional hotel, having visited the public house i could see they have had a recent refurbishment, the Hotel reception is full of history and the rooms are extremely clean with comfortable beds. The new management couple are supurb and nothing is too much trouble for them from taking my bags showing me up to my room and giving me extra pillows, i really felt welcomed. We also had a chat about the local area and advised on where to go and transport times. I tried a fantastic local ale that evening and joined on the friendly quiz before having the perfect nights sleep. Breakfast the next day was wonderful good quality eggs and a nice hearty breakfast set me off on my way. Will stay here next time i come to worthing so handy as the train station is opposite. Many Thanks

Bad Points: I paid £10 in advance for a breakfast which I didn't get, because there was nobody at 8.30 saturday morning at the reception to open the pub door for the guests and for the cookers.I had to leave at 8.30, so I didn't have breakfast.Very strange way to treat a customer.

This hotel is not in good condition. The blankets really smell and and are dirty and so are the towels. the room smell when you walk in and you cannot open a window to let in some fresh air. I wouldnt stay here again.
