We travelled from Stourbridge to The Pheasant, a two hour drive to "check it out' as we have booked to stay there for a couple of days next month. (We have booked accomodation via the internet previously only to be very dissapointed when we got there). Not so with the Pheasant, the place and it's location is absolutley marvelous, the staff efficient and polite. We had a very excellent lunch in front of a roaring wood fire (the beer wasn't bad either)! We asked to see the room we had booked and although they we very busy the owner took time to take us across to see it. The room was very good and we cannot wait to go back to stay over in December. We often go away for a short break around Christmastime and have to say this looks like the best we have found so far.
