Best rates for a Local Hotel

Only use this hotel for the room, which was adequate for one evenings stay. The restaurant however is another matter. A large, cold room with the atmosphere of a works canteen, staffed by knowledgeless youngsters. Atrocious waiting times for service. School canteen food, dressed up by someone who learnt from TV programmes. The food probably went cold as they were building a lattice of chips 80mm high on the plate, but these were oven chips! Prices for this debacle were top rate at £17.95 for mains, which were probably worth £7.95.
