What a splendid way to see the glorious snowdon range! ticket price i found to be very good value, i was'nt expecting 5 star comfort & buffet carriage it was the novel mode of transport "up a mountain" that attracted me.the view was brilliant , obviously i was lucky it was a nice clear day.The onboard 'commentary' was both informative & funny as well.I would recomend this attraction.

What an over-rated expedition!! Hideously over-priced, you sit in cramped discomfort, having been harried into the carriage by a surly bouncer worthy of the seediest night-club in the town.
Then you are ignominiously shunted half-way up the mountain in front on diesle bus-engine on 4 wheels. No steam here!
There far superior attractions in Llanberis, spend your money on them, and a map, and strike a short way up the mountain for the best view of the Snowdon mountain railway.
