Good Points: The hotel was clean and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. In the morning staff were sympathetic to our complaints.
Bad Points: In the night the noise in the hotel was dreadful - however I accept the receptionists contention that we could have complained. At about 6am an idiot set off the fire alarm and my daughter and I evacuated to the car park in our nightware. There was very little direction from staff and no offer of warm drinks etc as we had waited out in the cold while the fire brigade checked out the building. The speed people got out was too slow had there been a real fire.
General review: We checked out following the incident and were refunded for the breakfasts we did not stay for. However we were certainly not availed of your good nights sleep promise!
