I found the stay rather interesting. The food was beautiful & the lady was welcoming & pleasing on the eye. Our rooms were splended & I enjoyed being with my friends. The owner was lovely & helped me get a bus on 2 occassions. I liked it a lot. The other lady was kind & attractive.

A fantastic place to stay. The landlady is kind and welcoming and provides a great continental breakfast. Greek bread and juicy ham are on the menu and the rooms are comfortable and easily accessible. First rate!

Our twin bedroom was sited in a basement .We were surprised that anyone considered this room to be fit for Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

I booked this guest house for two of my female employees who had come down from Birmingham to London for the first time for an intensive training course for five days. Big mistake. The ladies were informed on arrival that the 'continental breakfast' consisted of fruit and juice. Not too excited by this prospect, they decided not to have it. During the girls’ stay, the landlady criticised them for using an electric heater supplied by the guest house in their room because she thought the room was warm enough. If the owners were so concerned about the electricity consumption, perhaps it would have been better just to remove the heater from the room in the first place. Despite the fact that the girls never complained, whilst they were checking out the landlady told them that they should have left after the first night if they weren't happy. Also, at that time she chose to measure the temperature in the house with a thermometer, insisting the house was warm enough for the girls not to have to have used an additional heater. One of the girls, on checking out, was told in no uncertain terms not to come back again. On hearing of these issues, I phoned the guest house to speak to the landlady directly. She criticised the girls for not having breakfast during their stay. I pointed out that I did not realise it was compulsory to have breakfast. She also described them as being 'unusual' guests. When I asked her what she meant by this, she said it was because they did not mix with the other guests! These girls were in London, working long and hard hours. All they wanted was a pleasant place to stay. Clearly the people who run this establishment need to learn to respect the privacy of their guests. Not a friendly or welcoming experience. I won't be using this place again in the future.

Good location but very poorly maintained. Faulty heater in room, mouldy ensuite with rusting fixtures, water inbetween the double glazing, musty smell and so on. On display is an expired 'one star' certificate which suggests it did not even achieve this on its most recent audit. You can do much better on a small budget than stay at this place.
