We stayed for two nights in the Malthouse and I would totally recommend it to anyone on every level of what makes a good B&B. The place is spotlessly clean, it's a lovely building, the breakfasts were wonderful and hearty, the family were friendly and helpful and it has a bar on the premises with draught alcohol. You can get a bus from Alton to Alton Towers and I would thoroughly recommend this place for a base for that, or indeed for anything else. Ccheers.
