We have just returned from a 3 day trip to the glorious North Yorkshire Dales. We stayed at The Buck as my husband had been to the area before and remembered the Hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome and given instructions about meal times etc. Our room was bright, clean and spacious. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the view from Room 8 was spectacular. The shower was one of the best! As you can tell we had a wonderful time. If I had any 'negative' comments (and these are only personal observations!) I would have liked a larger bath towel(!) and maybe more than two choices of starter on the menu. But apart from that I would thouroughly recommend the Hotel and the area. I would hope to return again one day (please keep Room 8 available!)
