Really did not enjoy our visit here. Average food but dreadful service and attitude, very rude and slow...took us over 15 minutes to even get a menu!

I would not Recomed this hotel to anyone!! Staff: On arrival the girl who checked us in was pleasent. Other than that we had a bad experience when coming for brekfast after a bad night sleep i was greeted with grunts and rushed with my order. None of the morning staff wanted to be there and as fo apperance i was slightly put off my brelfast! Not Professional at all! Bedrooms: I dont think this should even be a Hotel... The rooms were terrible not clean other than the bed sheets. When getting into bed the mattress was actually broken with a large dip when layed on! The toilet looked nothing more than a public one ( And not a nice one at that) no shower/bath mats. It took me half an hour to get the t.v Working with faulty wires! Decor in the dinning room was ok but the bar area was not the same... Pictures on the internet are very decieving. I will reccomend the roebook inn...wich is just up the road. This is where we went for are evening meal! Lovley food clean and professional And for only £10 more! I will definatley not be returning th the swan it is nothing more than a dirty locals Pub!!
