We recently visited a great town called Deal on the East Coast of Kent and found a gem of a restaurant in a tiny lane off the centre of twon. We had mussels which were absolutely delicious followed by a great duck and my boyfriend had Venison which he said was really tender and tasty. We didnt think that we should have a desert but so glad we did.... I had a strunning pear tart and he had chocolate roulade. Great meal in relaxed surroundings. Can def recommend and will go back. As we walked out, we noticed they had a deli - went back the next day for cheese and stayed for coffee and cake!
