Best rates for a Local Hotel

We spent a long weekend break at this hotel and found the location to be perfect - a superb location on the banks of the Avon river and 10 minutes stroll from the town centre. We read the previous reviews regarding the plumbing problems experienced by previous guests and thought that after five months these would have been sorted. How wrong we were, we had to endure cold showers on both mornings and had no confidence in the receptions answer to our complaints. The hotel obviously has serious plumbing problems but are still willing to take bookings and charge full rates without warnings to potential guests. Anyone thinking of booking here should seriously consider other options until they sort this ongoing issue. furthermore, the sound proofing in the newer extension to the old buildings is poor and from our ground floor room, we were awoken by guests walking around on the squeeky floor boards from the room above. Apologies if this sounds like a drip session, but having paid a substantial rate for an executive room, we at least expected to have hot water through the taps!!
