This hotel has to be awarded the 1st prize for the 'worst night out in England award'.
Although we did not book a room (thank heavens)we were unfortunate enough to pay £260.00 (in advance)for 6 adults, a twelve year old & a two year to celebrate our new year. We were promised a 'hot roast buffet' and a night of entertainment.
The hottest item at the buffet was the radiator,the little food available must have been organised by Scrooge himself, there was no host & no meet, greet or welcome. By a process of elimination we guessed which table was ours and the promised entertainment was a solo singer that sang ONE song then ran off for 45 minutes to ease his sore throat! We decided to cut our losses and go to a CLEAN & WELCOMING home (ours) to celebrate the new year. An awful, disgusting, horrible establishment! This place would be an embarrassment to anybody visiting Loughborough.
