At the end of days working outdoors in cold, damp weather, it was a relief to get back to the peace and quiet of our room at The Willows, have a hot shower and then go across the road to the ironic 'Labour in Vain' for a good meal and a pint. Our room was large, warm, clean and comfortable and well-stocked with tea, coffee and toiletries. The bathroom was of an equally high standard. Ann cooked excellent breakfasts and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Our extremely late arrival was not a problem. We really appreciated the tea after a four hour drive. Thoroughly recommend as an excellent place to stay.
