My girlfriend has just returned from the surgery where she has been seen by the nurse representing Dr Kiani, who was not present at the time. The nurse who acted in a fashion that was unbecoming of a representative of the NHS, became rude and informed her that things could be made difficult if she did not agree with the views of the nurse. The fact that she should have been impartial is irrelevant when compared to the manner in which the manager, who swaggered into the room, declared that she heard nothing and implied that the only person that was important to her was the nurse. This is not the service i have been accustomed to from the NHS and although my surgery does treat it's patients with the respect they deserve i am outraged that my hard earned money is going to fund this level of service. If this is the way the NHS is going through cut backs then perhaps the manager should be sacked and the money go towards paying the nurses a wage whereby they feel valued for the work that they do and have a box on the wall where the complaints go. Thoroughly annoyed and upset.
