I took my daughter to this dentist today. Her appointment was for 10:40. We were running slightly late so I rang ahead and told them we may be a few minutes late. As it was , we got there at 10:42. Two minutes late ! We were told that as we were late, my daughter would have to make an alternative appointment at a later date. She had already taken time off work to go today. The attitude of the receptionists was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. On previous visits to the surgery, we are usually waiting a minimum of 20 minutes! The receptionist said it was "choc a block" there this morning. However, when we got there ,there were only 4 people in the waiting room! This appalling standard of service is not what the public deserve, nor is it fair. If you do have the misfortune to have to visit this place, be prepared for rudeness and unprofessionalism.

the dentist is a very good practise and i think the dental treatment there is great but the only down point about the dentist is the receptionists they arent very friendly and sometimes dont make you feel that welcome .

My review of Bettws Dental Surgery has to be tempered with the knowledge that I, for many years, was quite phobic of all dental surgeries and in particular dentists. This phobia was in part due to a pretty traumatic experience as a child at the hands of Terence Wyesome based in Cwmbran Town Centre. I have only high praise with the professionalism and the standard of care offered at Bettws Dental Surgey by Rob Wilner and his team. Where once I was a nervous patient I am now able to visit with no signs or anxiety. All previous dental problems have been rectified and I frequently recommend Rob to friends and acquaintances alike.

Rob Wilner superb, dental nurses superb, reception staff usual 3 or 4 leave you standing there , do not appear approachable and want to diagnosis your problems without seeing dentist. I seriously recommend changing staff on front desk or send for training.

I completely disagree with the other reviews. I have found that all the staff at Bettws Dentist have always been excellent, really friendly and very proffessional. I have noticed however whilst sat in the waiting room that the receptionist take a lot of abuse from patients. I have the upmost respect for those girls as they take a lot of flack for just trying to do their job.

The head of the practice Mr Wilner is a diamond and is so professional however it is very hard to get a appt with him. The receptionist are dreadful they are rude and unhelpful and are very jumped up for JUST receptionists they are the face of the dentist before you actually see anyone else so i know if it was my business I would be appauled by their attuide.

Practice is modern and clean. Dentists themselves and dental nurses very good and make you feel at ease. Reception staff really could do with some customer service training. They are rude and abrupt and extremely unhelpful.
