It seems like happiness is just a thing called Burlington House! Rita and Fred were fabulous hosts. It was truly a home away from home. The location was excellent for those with a car and those without a car: me. The room which I stayed in was spacious, speckless, and stylish. The bed was comfortable (I fell into coma as soon as my head hit the pillow). The shower was powerful and had adjustable spray patterns. The towels were soft and cuddle-up fresh. Free wireless internet access and DVD library were real bonuses. The service was so sweet and heartwarming that I almost wanted to cry (Fred even drove me & my heavy luggages to the railway station). The breakfasts were simply wonderful (I was nuts about their rich-flavored-but-not-too-salty bacon & sausage); they really set me up for the day!!! I had a brilliant 3 day stay and would love to come back whenever is possible. I strongly recommend Burlington House for Young singles, Girlfriend getaway, Older travelers, Families with well-behaved teenagers, and Tourists, especially those Bloody Foreigners who want to enjoy the taste of the typical English villages and meet some really classy English couple - Rita and Fred.
