Overall, as an NHS patient, I am very disappointed with this dental practice. I require a root canal filling and was told by my dentist that it is not a service they offer and if I didn't let him pull the tooth out, he would have to refer me to a specialist for the filling which would cost upwards of £500. Ridiculous as when I viewed the NHS charter on dental practices, root fillings are most certainly offered as part of the service. This practice also charges patients £30 for a missed appointment or one cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, something else they are not permitted to do according to the charter. After being with this practice for years and going through a number of dentists while there, as they don't seem to be able to hold on to the good ones,I will not be returning there any more. I'm guessing they treat their private patients much differently.
