Myself and my 2 children are registered at this practice. I made a check up appointment for the 3 of us in May. The first appointment time being 4.25pm and then the next 2 followed this. We arrived at 4.32pm (7 mins late) to be told the dentist had left. The receptionist said she waited 5 minutes, infact I realised as we parked in the dental space that she was getting in her car as we got out!! Although we were 7 minutes late (bearing in mind getting caught at the train gates) our last appointment booked was actually 4.45pm. So the dentist had left well before and this is completely unacceptable. I was not impressed and I expressed this to the receptionist which was like talking to a bit of wood, she could not have cared less.I had left work early, picked up the children and gone to our dental appointment for absolutely nothing. Since then, I have had no phone call, no letter of explanation nor apology and yet if it had been me not turning up, they would have been after me immediately for a cancellation fee. Is it not my right then to charge the dental surgery a fee for wasting mine and my childrens time?!! I then made another appointment for the 3 of us for 17th June so we could all have a check up and I could deal with what happened face to face with the dentist. But really unfortunately we had just returned from a holiday and I totally forgot about it which was very irritating. However within 2 days, I received a letter saying that I had been removed from their patient list and that no further appoinments would be made. Bearing in mind this is the first time that I have ever forgotten our dental appointments, I was dumbfounded! I am a qualified nurse who has worked in Out Patients, Accident and Emergency, Doctors surgeries and so on and I believe this Dental Practice has treated me terribly espesially as 2 of their patients they have so easily struck off are children. The trouble is, because dentist are so hard to find nowadays, they think they are God and can do whatever they like, they seem to forget without the general public they would be out of a job. So quite obviously I do not recommend this Dental surgery whatsoever, all of them need to get their heads out of their a***s and stop believing they are something they are not.

I was very impressed with the technique of my practitioner who removed a broken tooth that had been troubling me for several months... Couldn't get a dentist! Efficient and not a hint of pain from the injection to the extraction. Marvellous practice. I look forward to this coming week when I shall be a step further along the road to healthy teeth.
