I made an appointment many weeks ago for 16.45 on the 02/11/2010 for an assessment as a new patient,( private) I left work in Liverpool at 14.45 believing that 2 hours would be more than enough to reach Shrewsbury! Unfortunately the weather got very wet and windy the closer I got, I tried to call the surgery to advise that I could be a little late but got the answer machine. I arrived at 16.50 hrs to be told I could not be seen as I was late, (5 mins) I tried to dicuss this with the receptionist and soon discovered from a patient who emerged that he had just finished his appointment at 16.55 hrs, so the dentist hadn't been available for my appointment at 16.45 hrs either!!!! The receptionist confirmed that this dentist was the one I had my appointment with and seemed distressed at being caught out in a lie having told me that the dentist wasn't running late! I am appalled at such treatment and that this dentist encouraged her staff to tell lies, I will find an honest and understanding dentist to give my money to. Disgraceful behaviour from a so called professional!!!!

Customer services and patient care is sadly lacking and would certainly not recommend. •NOT Currently accepting new fee-paying NHS patients •NOT Accepting new charge-exempt adults for NHS treatment •NOT Accepting new children aged 0-18 years for NHS treatment •DOES NOT Provide urgent dental access slots •This practice is only accepting as new NHS patients, Shropshire residents and non-residents who are registered with a Shropshire doctor
