The Borders Hill Walking Club had a very enjoyable walk today along the Ladies Walk and Duchess's Drive. On arriving back at Bowhill House in the afternoon some one said they would like to see the Ecuador airman's memorial stone which wasn't far away but up in the woods. Several people were intersted in seeing this so we set off up the hill to find it. However it took some 6/7 of us nearly an hour searching in the under growth to find the stone but we found it. The reason I'm writting is to ask if it were possible for you to put a post on the track nearest to the memorial stone to help other people, who may also be interested, to find it ? Roger French
