Good Points: All the staff were very friendly and the room we were given, in the new wing, was a lovely four poster, and very comfy - we'd have liked to have stayed longer! Bad Points: The only downside was having no hot water on the morning of our departure. As it was a late booking, payment had already been made and no reduction was offered as a result (although admittedly, neither was it actively sought by us) General review: A beautiful old building, cosy bar with roaring fire, great company and a lovely room. Peace and quiet in an idyllic setting - just what we were after to celebrate my birthday!
