I was in the Wheelers for a couple of years in the late 1960s and did some time trials.. my best being about 1.3.32 for a 25 on the N4 course, north London. I remember Clive Alexander (beating Peter Post and Patrick Sercu at Wembley... or was it Earls Court ?) Do you remember that race, Clive ? also Ricky Finch, Dave Roper and one or two others. I would be glad to hear from any of you.

My family and I moved to Swindon in 1963. We lived there, during which time I joined the Swindon Wheelers. I met lots of great friends. We spent summers months going on 'tea'runs and youth hostelling. I often think about the people I knew. Are they still about?
