I hadn't been to a dentist for years. My teeth were awful, I was scared and ashamed. I came to this practice.A miracle. My dentist Ivan is brilliant.A true gentleman.Calming, efficient and explains. I'm not scared anymore and my teeth are improving.Very top marks to him,all the great staff and the practice as a whole, and many, many thanks too! Andy

both dentists that ive had at the clock tower have been very good, although one managed to miss a tooth he was working on. my only problem is that its embarrassing having someone as beautiful as my female dentist looking at your teeth haha. i am a lucky boy!

I tend to agree with the comment on the reception staff. but only in part. I do not think that I have ever, in 5 visits seen Jasmine SMILE! Customer care and service is certainly not a priority with her. A most un=helpful and un=caring young lady! The care I got from my dentist was also a little lacking, when My wife has had to go back for the 3rd time to have her filling `re=filled` after it came out after 1 day then after 3 days and then again after 2 days. My new plate is very wobbly and I have not been able to bite anything for 3 weeks ~while it settles in~.... The worst set of teeth I have had. My mouth needs more fillings but the dentist has not attempted to rectify any further problems or even advised on more treatment! I will also be changing practices as soon as I find another one!

I have to say the service was BRILLIANT. I feel the previous people seem to be trying to pick holes in what for me was a trouble free good service. The 084 number was charged at the local rate number so no different to the 01392 code. The place was clean and bright and I felt just as good as in a private practise. I also have good teeth because I visit the dentist regularly. Thanks to the NHS for making this affordable.

i went to the practice for examination and what a wonderful dentist presh was he was extremely helpful and explained every thing to me very clearly. I found the two receptionists on the front desk to be extremely helpful (luci and jasmine) and couldnt do enough to help me. it was a pleasure seeing the dentist!!

I have been a patient at Clock Tower Dental Practice for almost 33 years and have found the service they have provided since Mr Leicester left, gone from bad to worse. Customer care is nonexistent, the receptionists have no customer care skills; it seems to me that they are trying to get as many people through the door as they can. It amazes me that a dentist can give a full examination in 1 minute. Luckily I do not have any problems with my teeth (well I hope not). So I have now decided to change practices.

Although I find the service brillant I was annoyed to find that they have chaged their contact number from a 01392 code to 0844. I have to change my appointment and as I do not have a landline I will have to incur 40p per minute to call them. I have tried say no to 0870/0844 etc but it has no listings and when you call the old number it only says that it has been changed to the 0844 number. As they close during my lunchtime and I am in work from when the open to close I am unable to contact them without incurring these charges - if anyone else does read this then please voice your concerns etc to the Head of the Practice to make sure they note our annoyance!

It is probably worth pointing out that this practice has changed hands in the past 12 months. This may help to explain the recent good review and the older poor ones. For myself, I'm half way through having a new crown fitted and the service so far has been both profesional and attentive. Even this temporary plastic crown has been well fitted and looks OK.

Overall, I was very pleased with my treatment from reception to consultation. Dentist (Christian) was sensitive to my worries and advised me as to the options. Also there was a very helpful dental nurse. I did not feel pressured or hurried. I have yet to have main treatment so I will comment on that at a later stage.

I was only a patient with this dentist for a brief spell but I am dissappointed with the service, for me it ended up being a series of cancellations and reschedules. The service and treatment that I recieved was quite appauling, the dentist lacked giving me full consultation as I am aware that I was left halfway through treatment and unsure what further treatment was neccessary. Returning for a check up on the tooth, I had found that my orignal detist was away on a two month holiday, Inconvenient and unreliable

I have to say that I had previously rated this as a good, caring dental practice but the last few years they seem to have severly gone down in my estimation. My husband has had many nightmare problems with them in the last 12 months. He had visited them approx 6 months ago with a raging toothache only to be told by the receptionist that there are no appointments for over a week! It was painful for me to see him in such dreadful pain for 7 days popping painkiller after painkiller just waiting for the apointment to put him out of his misery. Recently on another ocassion he was treated for an infection and given a temporary filling and told by the dentist to return within one week, only to be told by the receptionist that there were no appointsment for five weeks! To add to that disgraceful service after waiting the five weeks, the friday before the due date on the monday the receptionist left a message on our answerphone informing us that the appointment has been cancelled! My husband is (excuse the pun) fed up to the back teeth with them! And try to chsage dentists - that is another story.

I was registered with this practice for over twenty years, so i was shocked and dismayed to find out that they had removed me from their books because i hadn't gone in for a couple of years. What made it worse is that on my last visit i was told to leave it a couple of years before my next check up. They have left me without a nhs dentist at a time when i really need one, if i end up losing the tooth i am having problems with it will be their fault.
