Deeply dissappointing - Room was grubby, sparsly furnished, a dirty fridge stood on a towel to catch the drips on the floor, breakfast tea arrived in mugs with tea bags still in them and there were no tea spoons left for our table. Light bulbs missing, no towel rails or toilet roll holder, TV/sky box remote controller was missing. The cook apeared in a dirty white tee shirt and was a bit of a bully to some ladies on a neighbouring table. The waitresses and the food were excellent but the complaints frm other guests were abundant too so we left! Definitely not worth the money they charge

The hotel is easy to find from the given instructions. Rooms are clean and well presented. Where this hotel really shines is in its staff. They are friendly and gracious. Nothing was too much bother for them and they truly went out of their way to make our stay a comfortable one. Food is good with the complimentary breakfasts being the best I have had for a while. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone.

The walls and floor/ceiling are very thin here. We were kept awake until 2 am by people staying in the proprietors own flat upstairs; it sounded like they were dragging dining chairs across the floorboards, and we could hear running, laughing and shouting. We could hear televisions and talk from neighbouring rooms, and there was a lot of talking and shouting in the corridor outside the rooms until late. We expected noise until late as they were holding a Greek evening, though they didn't inform us of that until after we'd booked. But we hadn't expected to be kept awake quite as late as that. The double glazing was of poor quality, so it didn't keep noise down from outside. The rooms were rather basic, with strange gloomy light cast by dark lampshades. There was no breakfast menu. When I asked what they could offer they weren't very helpful; we felt as if we were intruding. They had run out of a lot of ingredients. Breakfast was served in the bar, which they hadn't had time to clean from the night before. The proprietor was pleasant enough, though not particularly warm and welcoming. We wouldn't go back. This is indeed basic, though perhaps not at a basic enough price.
