Very disappointing. Were told we had the best room. Bed was rubbish, very close to the floor and a small double. Felt cheap and uncomfortable. Decor out of the 70s. Damp and peeling wallpaper in the landing. Bathroom looked new, cheap toilet with holes in the ceiling and plumbing not finished. Also no shower! Scored zero with my girlfriend. Worth £35 per night not £65.

I only came in for lunch. It used to be the best fish in beer batter I ever tasted. However, this is now off the menu and I had chicken curry instead. Unfortunately, this was very disappointing. It looked unappetising and tasted like chicken in hot tomato soup. I'm sorry to be negative, but it was quite disappointing.
