These Cottages set the standard for The Lake District. 5 stars doesn't say enough. We had a fantastic week and we will return next year

The Old Shippon provides very comfortable accomodation and is equipped to a high standard. The location is central to many walking areas such as Haweswater, the Howgills and the lake district in general.
The first day we arrived we walked from 'the door' and joined the Dales Way, visting the village of Staveley which has a good pub, the Eagle and Child and Wilf's cafe which provides excellent food.
If you want a 'get away from it all' break, these cottages are a must!
