i went here yesterday after winning a family ticket in a raffle, previously i had heard bad things about it so was not really sure what to expect. but it was amazing the animals were so close if you were brave enough you could touch them, the tigers and lions were running and playing and really enjoying the attention, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. the whole place was spotless and the prices were very reasonable inside the shops etc. the great thing my whole family felt about it was that it seemed to be more about the animals,as you would expect from a zoo, but it was not all about the souvenoirs, shops and parks, we all learnt a great deal. if you have heard bad things about it my advice to you is go and see for yourself like we did, we will definatly be going back this year.and we cant wait

Thank you so much for the lovely flowers and balloons for my mum and dad's 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary suprise dinner at Hornbury Mill. They were absolutely beautiful and I just wanted to tell you and anyone else who visits this site that you did a very professional job. Thank you again.

I visited Dartmoor Zoological Park today with my two young children. Despite inclement weather, we spent a most enjoyable few hours wandering around. I loved the intimacy of the site; it was like a country walk with exotic animals thrown in. Everything about the visit impressed me. The gentleman in the ticket office took the trouble to correct my request for two children’s tickets, pointing out that my youngest, being under four, need not pay. Lunch was fresh, reasonably priced and served by two cheerful and incredibly helpful young ladies. The restaurant was spotless, warm and friendly. I found DZP a perfect family outing and won’t hesitate to return or to recommend it to others.
