I was born in 1940 and lived in Michael Gdns.from 1943. There was no free medical treatment then and there was myself and later, my sister and my brother. My sister was very sickley and frequently the then Dr Fiens would visit us free of charge. I am convinced that he saved my sister's life on many an occasion and when my brother was dreadfully ill with whooping cough he prescribed the then new sulphonamide drug that brought him through.. I am writing memoirs and your practice came up. Just a little reminiscence! Sincerely, Christine. Australia, but often back home.

Date visited: in the 1940's
