In response to the review, the 0844 telephone costs are 5p per minute, same as a national call. It will appear on a bill as a premium rate number but it is not the same cost as the high rate premium rate numbers. Our reception staff endeavour to answer all calls as quickly as possible, but as you can appreciate there are times when staff are discussing and dealing with complex health matters and some calls may take more time. Please be patient when calling, if the phone lines are busy,I suggest patients hang up and call back when the phones may be less busy. Mondays are very busy days for telephone calls so I would suggest,unless it is necessary, try not to contact the surgery on a Monday. Of course, if you do ring on a Monday, or any day, staff will endeavour to answer as quickly and efficiently as possible at all times. S Morgan, Practice Manager

The phone number supplied is incorrect and as it is now a premium rate number - 08448802800. Not impressed at having to wait over 3 mins for my call to be answered and being charged at a higher rate for the privilege.
