One to be missed. I went for a walk around Kinross late yesterday evening because it was a fine sunset and popped in for a drink. There was nobody behind the bar to serve me, nor any sign of a bell to ring. After waiting a few minutes I called for attention - no reply; a few more minutes the same again; a third time, and a chubby-faced young man looked through from the other end of the bar, pool queue in hand where he was obviously enjoying himself, and told me he couldn't be bothered to serve me and to go away. Unwanted custom and an uncaring staff attitude - what gives Scottish tourism hospitality the poor reputation it has.
