We came back a third year for our anniversary, as usual we visited one of our fave restaurants. It is still very good but we were somewhat dissappointed with the lack of choice in the menu this time. There were no specials, not one chicken or Lamb dish and shock horror, NO Canapes!!! Its the little things that can stand out in a place like this and we were so looking forward to a spectacular meal(as before on previous visits) But we did leave slightly disappointed. Food was good but not as good as in the past. I believe there are to be new owners, perhaps the heart is not in the job anymore but here's hoping that it doesnt slip into mediocrity. However I would say I would still recommend te Old Armoury.

Absolute delight, this was our second visit since July, the trip is worth it from Aberdeen to Pitlochry for this alone, possibly the best meal(s) we have ever had. Brilliant ambience, delightful staff & the food is to die for. We will be back - SOON... MMMmmmmmmm
