Good Points: Welcoming owner and room. Good variety of hot drinks available in room with kettle. Hot spa/tub outdoors and jacuzzi in room provided much-needed relief from stressful jobs abroad! Bad Points: Last minute booking meant we could not book breakfast 24-hours in advance. Strange 4: 00pm check-in time. Waited in car for 12 minutes for the time as cleaning still being carried out! General Review: The information on the website was interesting and enticed me to book. The confirmation was sent quickly back to my email. Only minor disappointment was no breakfast. It would have been great to have a Japanese breakfast (or even an ordinary English one would do - just cornflakes with milk and juice or a cup of tea with toast). The car was parked in front of the guesthouse on residential parking off the main road and someone during the night had finger-drawn large initials in the condensation across the back which was evident in the morning. Glad marks weren't made with a sharp instrument! There was no other off-street parking. Will be very happy to book this place again - owner made us feel relaxed, comfortable and welcomed.

Booked for 2 nights. The room was small, basic with a hook on door for clothing. The double had no privacy when in the spa bath as other visitors to the outside pool can see in. Placed next to the front door, the constant stream of staff and other guests, spotlights streaming in above the blinds meant very little rest. Tried to discuss the menu with little success. Ordered the crayfish and the price quoted was £18.00 for two. When the bill arrived it was £35.00 even thought the crayfish was medium sized and we had half each. The Continental breakfast was 4 slices of cheap white bread with preserves and coffee. The price for the 2 days was almost double that quoted. Billed as 4 stars no signage to support this and no name plate on the front.

Good Points: loved the deep bath/ jacuzzi / tv and all the little extras like slippers, robes, biscuits fruit, tea cofee, full sized toiletries, decent toilet paper etc Bad Points: size of room, price of breakfast tho food was very good and lots of it. General Review: only one thing would put me off staying again was size of the room. the twin beds both had a head board top and bottom and as the beds were side by side with no gap down the middle this meant that my friend had to climb over me everytime she needed to get out of bed. We managed to move the beds apart slightly but could then not get to the sofa or around the room at all such a shame as everything else was perfect. I suggest taking the headboard off the bottom the beds so at least we could clamber out that way or remove the sofa to give a little more room. If these changes were made I would not hesitate to book again. Would definately recommend for couples but not for friends a little too cosy even for best friends!!
