I arranged the works Christmas Lunch here. It was without a doubt the best food I have had in a long time. None of the usual reheated Turkey, Everyone in the party thought the food was great. I would recommend it to anyone. The Salmon in sun dried tomatoe sauce was to die for.

I was taken for dinner to this fabulous restaurant. On arriving I was a little unsure as it was situated right down on the river Ayr and it was a cold, rainy blustery night. but we were made to feel very welcome..... Then the food ....wow Never in Scotland have I experienced such perfectly cooked sea food I had the scallops with stornoway blackpudding and Parsnip puree they were delightfull... I also had the Partride with chestnuts and the wine we had Australian pinot Noir was just perfect..... Well done to the Waterside
