when the restaurant manager feels it necessary to post fake positive reviews of his own restaurant, i think that tells you a lot about the standard of the place.

Thought I'd share the love about this little place. Yeah ok it IS small but that adds to its charm, the music is cool & the cocktails even cooler, good value at 3.95, I've paid more for less elsewhere so give them a try. I'm a veggie (sorry) & asked the chef to come up with a variation on the quesadillas. I specifically asked for no mushrooms & got exactly what I asked for, portion was great & the salad with it was fresh & crisp with yummy dressing. The food is cooked from fresh & my husbands fajitas came out sizzling as they should, it made me want to eat chicken again. The staff are attentive but not intrusive, the girls who served us were polite & smiley. Can't wait to bring my cousins when they visit from USA next month!

This restaurant was once very popular although it has gone downhill considerably in the past two years. The food is very variable. At times the portions are generous and not overly spicy but on other occasions the food is incredibly spicy and the portion sizes are small. The service is extremely poor. This is the reason I chosen to write this review. The staff are surly, rude and argumentative. On two occasions the staff have stood at the end of the bar and laughed at customers in the restuarant. On one occasion I was charged £10 extra and the waitress suggested I pay the extra as refunding the money would be too much hassle!

We went to Rancho Pancho Mexican Restaurant in Dundee City Centre last night. I have never felt compelled to write a review on a restaurant before but i felt that people cannot miss going to this wonderful and beautiful restaurant. The restaurant itself is just beautiful. From the beautiful oak wood floor to the stunning blue bar its design is very modern and colourful and is not filled with tacky mexican gimmicks etc normally found in restaurants. The service was just brilliant. Very friendly and extremely efficient we were treated like royalty throughout the evening even though the restaurant was extremely busy. You can choose from a massive cocktail menu and margarita menu--which has every variation of margarita on the planet i think or you can choose from the imported beer menu(try the modelo especiale!!). The food was out of this world--I tried one of the specials from the extensive menu(fajitas malayo)-the taste of the food was just sublime and the presentation was just marvellous. My friends all had such a great evening at this little gem of a restaurant so if you are going to Dundee do not miss out on this restaurant---fantastic!!!!
