Having recommended this restaurant to my son/daughter-in-law during their visit this week, I felt rather let down by the attitude of the owner to them. After arriving & being given a menu, another couple came in after them & were given a different menu. To cut a long story short, it seems that they run a two menu system based on the time you dine. This was NOT explained, either to my wife when she rang to enquire what times they were open, or to my son when he rang to arrange a booking. The owner was rather off hand with them when they queried it and they were subsequently ignored for around 20 minutes until they decided to pay for their drinks & seek alternative arrangements. They went to the Seabirds in Flamborough and even though service had been finished for 30 minutes, they were given the menu & had an excellent meal and excellent service.
