Recently moved to the area and was unsure of a good curry house. Moving from Birmingham and visiting the Balti triangle regularly, I had a high standard of expectations. I received a take away menu through the post recently and with the range of new dishes and interesting ingredients I was keen to sample. The added advantage of boasting healthy curries was also appealing. The restaurant is well presented and modern. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. They provide information about dishes and recommend their favourites. The dinner ware was very contemporary and added to the experience. Now the most important bit, the food. Wow! I was recommended this dish by the waiter and I was blown away. The flavours in the dish were fantastic and avoid of excesses of oil and grease you sometime find. Each of us at the table had incredible tasting dishes with each being completely different and new to our palettes. They are not afraid to use spices or herbs you wouldn’t expect in Indian cooking such as Lemongrass but this added to the unique flavour. The portions were more than adequate, not quite as extensive as Imrams in Sparkbrook, but they certainly won’t leave you feeling hungry. We were given complimentary drinks at the end of the meal as it was mum’s birthday which was very hospitable. The price is slightly above average costing around £15 - £20 pp before drinks for 3 courses but worth it for a special occasion. Looking forward for a return visit very soon.

Went into this restaurant the for the fist time with my boyfriend and was suprised to hear that it was actually trading here for five years, quite astonishing considering i lived in kiddy all my life.Right people forget any other reviews written, because this place is under new management. I walked in at 8.30pm and the restaurant was busy. I was welcomed by a smart waitor and was asked to wait in the lounge whilst my table was getting ready. I was given a Menu and was asked for drinks. I was impressed with the variety and quality of wines they had on offer compared to the other Indians in the area. we both opted for a rose wine Pink Elephant which simply marvelous. our order was taken,we ordered 4 poppadums, i went for a chicken chat starter with a Murgh nash-e-lee whilst my boyfriend went for a stuffed pepper with prawns and a Chicken Makani.5 minutes later we were shown to our table a round one in this case which was nice as is was more spacious.the ambience of the place was great and the food was excellent. one thing we both did notice was how the food was less greasy and and oily. the kind waiter explained the process of cooking and how the manage to keep the food healthy by using less oil , butter and ghee. all in all people this is a great place to go out to. great food, great staff and an excellent atmosphere.

Service: The waiting staff could not speak english very well, not at all to be honest? They seamed rushed, did not understand what order was for each table & when the drinks did finally arive the waiter spilled them both over the table cloth, it was very funny as the chap just rubbed it into the blue clean tablecloth. Food: We had to send one main corse back (there was only two of use). When we informed the waiter his responce was "yes and what do you want me to do" he said it like he already new it was wrong. They did finially bring the correct meal however the other diner I was with had finished theres, it had taken that long. The food was below par for the prices they charge, a little tastless and bland. The peshwari naan had banana in it very strange?
